Creating a partnership between a kitchen and it’s home is a key objective for our projects, and in this particular case Mary was keen for the Georgian ‘personality’ of their townhouse home to flow through their kitchen and pantry design.

We designed in the Georgian elegance with delicate moldings, a Perrin and Rowe tap, and butt-hinges, as well as dovetailing each drawer, and hand-finishing the cabinetry paint work on site with our experienced specialist. These details bringing the kitchen to champion it’s home so well.

The room itself was a rather long, slim shape which required the designer to get extra-imaginative with the design, and be innovative with the space for it to work for it’s purpose, as well as be pleasing on the eye. This was acheived by incorporating tall units and open dressers, and being resourceful with the side-room

And, the pop of ‘Bancha Green’ on the island, although perhaps the element that is not quite as Georgian like, for us makes the project wholesomely so pleasing on the eye, with the finer details collectively coming together to present this kitchen as a focal point of it’s beautiful home. We love it!
